Look what we’ve just found on YouTube! This was released 50 years ago in 1967…the year they say shaped pop music forever.
The Twinset …that’s Dave and Alan Williams, joined forces with The Informers in Rhyl in the 60s, which saw them appear at London’s Playboy Club during the heart of the Flower Power era, leading to a three week tour of Sweden.
They got together again and played through the 90s as The Informers and The Fabulous Twins, disbanding… with a Final Farewell gig at Rhyl’s Pavilion Theatre in a sold out show in May 2001.
On Sunday June 4 at The White Lion, Llanelian, you can hear twin Dave Williams and The Informers’ former MD Phil Hartley-Williams in a 40 minute performance called Informal Soul.
