Picked this inn for celebrating the birthdays of 3 of our friends. It has proven to be a great choice!Great food. The team was warm and accommodating. The chef (?) gave us a surprise by performing a birthday song with his trumpet (it was such a surprise that we didn't manage to take a photo/video).Thank you SO much for making the celebration extra special!

Friendly and popular pub and eatery. Lovely fireside seating for the winter and a spacious outdoor area for the summer. Draught selection is usually good and the food is excellent, always feels like a treat to come here. Old school rural pub decor and friendly cats, I believe it's won all sorts of awards. Sometimes wish the parking area was separated from the seating area because when it's busy it does feel like you're sitting in a car park!

What a fabulous time we had at The White Lion! A quaint pub/Restaurant with lots of antiquities in display. Staff are so helpful and friendly, food is of good quality, the prices are reasonable too.Well recommended, situated next to a beautiful church, it's beautifully situated with lots of seating inside and out. This is a little oasis...you must visit.

Lovely cozy country pub. Had a Sunday roast which was really nice, portions could be bigger. Service was spot on, didn’t have to wait long for anything. Fantastic desserts, especially loved the chocolate brownie with that amazing sauce. Would definitely return.

I had lasagne which was really tasty, unfortunately my work mates had chicken in a sauce but the meat was tough and a bit dry, and another had a roast dinner and the meat was as if it had been kept warm and again was a bit tough. Staff very helpful, place very comfy.

Fantastic pub located away from the hustle and bustle of Colwyn Bay but they get extremely busy.Super friendly service, great food and drinks. Sunday roast is a must try and save some space for an apple pie dessert!

Found this pub on Google maps while on a trip to North Wales . Called and asked if they could accommodate 5 with a dog. Told they didn't allow dogs inside. No problem outside. Arrived sat in covered outdoor area . Pub was really busy but we were served promptly and the food was exceptional. Staff were so nice even chef came out to check on us. Top place and how pubs should be run. 10/10

A great pub... catered for a large group (9) at short notice. Fantastic service with a smile, and the food was excellent. Plant-based options on the menu weren't really visible but the staff offered one vegan option as a main course, which turned out to be very good. Only suggestion for improvement is to actually offer a couple of plant-based/vegan options on the menu... it all helps to make everyone feel welcome. Cracking pub (often with music, quiz night etc), will go back again when visiting relatives in the area.
