As you may be aware the duty on wine was increased in the last Budget and until now we have been able to hold our prices.
Unfortunately new stocks coming in are now at the new duty price plus several of our wines are from Europe and Australia, both of whose currencies have appreciated markedly against the pound since the vote to leave the EU.
We have kept the increases to the bare minimum and we know our wines form Majestic Wines still represent excellent value for money.
