The Colwyn Bay uke-a-bay weekend opens next Friday 1st August at the White Lion at 9.00pm.
The concert will open with the Colwyn Bay Ukulele Group playing what is billed as a bluesy-jazzy style which will include old favourites Close to You by the Carpenters and Can’t Buy Me Love by the Beatles, plus a few songs with a rock’n’roll feel to them.
At 10.00pm there will be a guest appearance by Del Taylor.
This weekend of Ukulele fun is being organised by the Colwyn Bay Ukulele Group with funding from Colwyn Bay Council and the weekend continues with performances at the Interchange on Saturday and Rhos Fynach on Sunday plus pop up workshops and performances at various sites in Colwyn Bay.
