Simon and Esme and a party from the White Lion had a great day at the CAMRA’s Great British Beer Festival at Olympia two weeks ago.
In addition to sampling various Real Ales and Ciders at the exhibition the party, as part of their research, also visited The Old Ship, a Youngs Pub on the river at Hammersmith, and the Churchill Arms in Notting Hill which is famous for its historical link to the Churchill family and its flower displays.
A great time was had by all even if it did mean getting back home on the last train and it was great to again meet some of Esme’s university friends.
