How to find us

The White Lion Inn Pub and Restaurant is less than 2 miles from junction 22, Old Colwyn, off the A55, take the exit and head inland.  Go straight across the roundabout opposite the Marine Hotel into Llanelian road, past Colwyn Bay Football Club, and after 0.75 miles you will see a right turn signposted Llanelian yn Rhos, pointing up the hill.  The Village, famous old Church and the White Lion are at the top of this hill just a further 0.7 miles.  If you are heading east or west along Abergele Road from Colwyn Bay or Abergele, just turn inland at the Marine Hotel roundabout and follow as above.  For SatNavs the postcode is LL29 8YA.

From Llanrwst and Betws y Coed, there is a lovely drive through the hills to Llanelian which takes approximately half an hour (see map).   Prestatyn, Rhyl, St Asaph and Kinmel are all less than half an hour away coming from the east.  If visiting North Wales, be it Llandudno for the seaside, Snowdonia for the scenery, on your way to Abersoch or Anglesey for the sailing, or maybe you just fancy a run out in the country then we are ideally situated for your refreshment stop, with plenty of car parking space.

We look forward to seeing you in our village, a quiet haven at the top of a hill, convenient to, but away from, today’s hurly burly life.
