Singalong Sunday 4th June

Look what we’ve just found on YouTube!  This was released 50 years ago in 1967…the year they say shaped pop music forever.  The Twinset …that’s Dave and Alan Williams, joined forces with The Informers in Rhyl in the 60s, which saw them appear at London’s Playboy Club during the heart of the Flower Power era, leading to a three week tour of Sweden.
They got together again and played through the 90s as The Informers and The Fabulous Twins, disbanding… with a Final Farewell gig at Rhyl’s Pavilion Theatre in a sold out show in May 2001.
On Sunday June 4 at The White Lion, Llanelian, you can hear twin Dave Williams and The Informers’ former MD Phil Hartley-Williams in a 40 minute performance called Informal Soul.
Come on up to Sing Along Sunday on June 4 (onstage 9pm) and re-live some fine soul moments. Don’t miss it!

Llanelian Spring Fair May 2016 report

Llanelian Spring Fair 2016

Llanelian Spring Fair 2016-2Everyone had a great time at this year’s Llanelian spring fair. The weather was a bit on the cold side but that didn’t stop there being a great attendance.  Thanks to everyone who organised stalls; I’m not sure if all those books got sold.  Thanks also to the Ukulele group for entertaining us.  The money raised goes to help support the village church which is a great asset for us to have.
